Our Production & Shipping Model

All items listed on applemug.com are Made-to-Order. This means that once your purchase is placed, we custom-manufacture that item specifically for you, ensuring the highest quality.

Since our operations are primarily domestic (within the US), the manufacturing and shipping processes are tightly controlled, allowing us to maintain a reliable Estimated Delivery Time Range.

Delivery Partners

Applemug utilizes both USPS and DHL services to deliver your ordered items to your address.

Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)

Your order’s ETA consists of two phases: Production Time and Shipping Time.

1. Order Processing & Production Time

Orders are processed promptly once payment is accepted. We operate on business days: Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard Time (EST), excluding holidays observed by the Post Office (New Year’s Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).

  • Product Production time: 1 – 3 business days.

Note on Customization: If your order is personalized or requires design modifications, please allow a few extra days for our designer to finalize the customization. Design time depends on the complexity of the request.

2. Shipping Time

Holiday Season Notice: Due to high volumes and increased pressure during holidays, our processing and delivery times may be delayed by up to 10 business days beyond the standard timeframe. We appreciate your patience during peak periods.

International Shipments

Applemug ships internationally to markets like Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and many others.

Customs Duties, Taxes, and Charges:

Import duties, taxes, and any related charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges vary by country and are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these potential additional costs will be.

Restricted Delivery Zones

We are currently unable to deliver to the following regions due to adverse political and/or pandemic status:

  • CU (Cuba)
  • IR (Iran)
  • KP (North Korea)
  • SL (Sierra Leone)
  • Palestinian Territories
  • South Sudan
  • Myanmar
  • Crimea, Ukraine

Order Tracking

A confirmation email containing a tracking link will be sent to you once your order is ready to ship.

  • Please allow 5-7 days for the carrier to scan your package into their system. If there is no information available, it means the carrier has not processed your parcel yet.
  • If your package has not arrived by the estimated arrival date, please contact us immediately so we can assist you.

Incorrect Address Policy

Please ensure you provide the correct and complete shipping address at checkout:

  • Delays: If we detect incorrect or missing information, we may contact you for an update, which can cause delivery delays.
  • Returned/Misdelivered Orders: We are not responsible if your order is delivered to the wrong address or returned to the sender due to incorrect information provided by the customer.
  • Returned Orders: Orders returned due to an incorrect address will be donated to charities and will not be returned to our warehouse.
  • Re-shipping Fee: For orders returned due to an incorrect address, a re-shipping fee will be requested to resend your order.
  • Redirected Packages: If you contact the final mile carrier after the order has left our facility and ask them to forward or redirect your parcel, we are not responsible if that parcel gets lost, stolen, or damaged.

Return & Refund Policy

We can issue a full refund if the items were not delivered or were damaged during the shipment process.

If you are unsatisfied with our products for any reason, please contact us. We will work with you to find a solution, which may involve returning your order for a replacement or a full refund (including the original shipping fee).
